Crafted from high-quality porcelain for your individual tooth, inlays sit atop the interior biting surface of the tooth, up to the cusps, where onlays extend over the cusps to the exterior of the tooth. These restorations can actually strengthen the structural integrity of the tooth, and in most cases a dental crown is not required for additional support.
