Dental implants are the only permanent tooth replacement option. Inserted directly into the jawbone, dental implants provide an incredibly reliable foundation for dental restorations such as crowns. Supported by bone, implants are capable of restoring complete strength to your bite and beauty to your smile. Additional benefits of dental implants include their singular ability among tooth replacement options to prevent bone loss and structural changes to your jaw. This and other advantages can be discussed in more detail during your Houston dental implants consultation.

The Dental Implants Process
Dental implants are surgically inserted into your jawbone where they become accepted as a replacement tooth root. The acceptance of your implants as new tooth roots is central to their effectiveness, but this is not a process that occurs quickly.
After placement of your implants by Dr. Morency, there will be a period of up to six months before full restoration is completed. This time allows your implants to undergo the process of osseointegration and become a permanent part of your smile. While the process can take some time, the final results are well worth the wait.
Our dentists perform all parts of the dental implant process at our comfortable Houston office. This allows us to personally work to guard your safety and ultimate satisfaction while also increasing your convenience.
We Care about Your Comfort
To help ensure your comfort we offer sedation dentistry options which can be used during any part of the dental implants process. We offer oral conscious sedation for most patients, but work with an experienced anesthesiologist for those who prefer complete sedation during the surgical portion of treatment. This can be discussed in more detail during the planning phase of your procedure, in addition to guidelines for preparation and recovery.
Dental implants offer a fantastic solution for many of our patients but may not be right for everyone. During your initial consultation we can help you determine if you are a good candidate for dental implants and discuss alternatives, such as partials, as appropriate.
